Ready to set sail?

The Learn2Sail (L2S) program at Indented Head Yacht Club (IHYC) is a sailing education initiative to introduce individuals of all ages to sailing. This program has been integral to IHYC's outreach efforts for several years, promoting water safety, teamwork and an appreciation of the environment of the Bellarine.

Program - the L2S program offers a well-structured curriculum that covers essential sailing skills, safety procedures and boat handling.  Participants progress through various levels, from novice to advanced, ensuring they understand sailing comprehensively.

Coaching - qualified and experienced coaches lead the programs, working with our existing volunteers; this ensures we have an approach that develops sailing skills in a fun and enjoyable environment. Considerable effort is made to keep the L2S affordable and accessible for all; IHYC provides L2S on a cost-recovery basis.

Community Bank Bellarine supports the Learn2Sail program, assisting IHYC to purchase boats and equipment, keeping the costs affordable and accessible.
